The Halsey House is now EV-friendly!

We installed an electric vehicle charger in the Halsey House garage, and it is available to guests. It is a J1772 Level 2 charger, and for most cars an 8-10 hour charge will fill up the tank, er, battery.

Furthermore, we’re happy to offer overnight garage space to guests on motorcycles. The Finger Lakes and Taughannock Park are wonderful destinations for two-wheelers, and we’re happy to keep the bikes safe and dry.

Alas we do not yet own a fully electric vehicle ourselves, but we do have two hybrids and are eco-conscious.
